I happened to come across this cool stencil, that surely someone put together in conjunction with the Berlin Marathon that took place Sunday, September 29th. Runners, some still wrapped in their yellow blankets, were present all over Berlin. While riding on the train, I asked a group of Dutch men who had obviously participated in the race earlier, who won. I said, “was it someone from Kenya?” to which one answered, “Yes, a Kenyon man won the race in 2 hours, 3 min. and 23 seconds.” As the link above reveals, Wilson Kipsang of Kenya won the race and ‘shattered’ the world record.
