Hallowed Autumn Beauty  |  Scary ambience of War Games  |  Halloween day

Scary war games on an otherwise peaceful hallowed Halloween day º October 31st in Pennsylvania, USA. Blustery clouds and gusting winds sculpting the sky and light. Long shadows, low beams of light. Catching small patches of fields left to be wild, interspersed with tamed mowed lawns; nature torn apart from itself.

It would have been an otherwise perfect day except for the methodical bomb blasts going off perpetually for several hours coming from Indian Town Gap 11 miles away. These low rumbles were replaced with consistent loud metal sprays of gunfire at a closer range, the State Police Academy in Hershey. I guess a Sunday Halloween afternoon is as good a time as any to practice for battles.

The colors, patterns, light contrasts and nature that I saw, kept making me stop.

The deer I saw was followed by two more a couple minutes later. I was going to visit the horses and donkeys, who know immediately when the deer are nearby.
